Not only is the oil spill in the Gulf Coast an ecological nightmare, but rumors are that it will cause gas prices to skyrocket. Rumors of $5 - 6 dollars a gallon, maybe even higher? With government looking to Florida as possible off shore drilling sites. This disaster may put a stop to those thoughts. Not only has this oil spill possibly effected gas prices but seafood prices as well. Time to dust off those scooters and motorcycles folks, and curb your appetite for seafood. All we can do is watch and see what will be the outcome to this disaster.
