Bruce Rossmeyer ,66, died on his way to the Sturgis Bike Rally yesterday. His Harley Davidson Empire consisted of 15 dealerships the most renown being Destination Daytona "Largest Harley Davidson Dealership in the World" in Ormond Beach, Florida.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol said Bruce Rossmeyer and five of his friends were headed east on Highway 28 in Sweetwater County on their motorcycle's when they were trailing a pickup pulling a camper trailer.
The truck driver of the truck slowed down and began making a left turn when Bruce Rossmeyer tried to pass him. Bruce Rossmeyer, who reportedly was not wearing a helmet, struck the driver's side door. According to the police report, the truck driver's turn signals and brake lights were operational at the time of the crash.
Bruce Rossmeyer is survived by his wife, Sandy, five children, and several grandchildren.

I am a Harley Lover! I am sorry to hear this. I ride about 8 months a year (only not during the snow months) and I love my hog. I am thankful to have never been in an accident, but I pride myself in being a responsible rider.
