Local Radio Host and Motorcycle Enthusiast Shannon Burke was accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and animal cruelty. He was arrested last Thursday for shooting his wife and her dog with a .40 caliber pistol, both survived the shooting. He was temporarily released on Saturday 5/5/09 for his Real Ride Charity Event then returned to jail. His wife was grazed in the head and has gone through re-constructive surgery. The family dog also had it's rear leg stitched. While in jail Shannon Burke contract was terminated by Clear Channel local (Real Radio 104.1 FM) in Central Fl.
