American Motorcycle manufactures feel the Economic Slump

Forbes.com reports that American Motorcycle companies Harley Davidson and Polaris Industries (the manufactures of Victory motorcycles) will be eliminating jobs due to the economic down turn. According to the article Harley Davidson is due to cut 1,100 jobs in the next two years.  Unfortunate news even as Harley Davidson unvield it newest motorcycle the Sportster Iron 883 part of it's dark custom collection yesterday. Polaris Industries is estimated to cut 450 jobs. Even with the gas price slowly rising again,  Motorcycle companies as a whole are feeling the bite of the economic climate.
