Honda to release a production Electric Motorcycle
Takeo Fukui Honda Corp. President announced that they will have a battery-powered motorcycle on the market in two years. He emphasized how important motorcycles will be in the Honda global business in light of the tough economic times across the world.
Fukui said that “Honda is currently developing a battery-powered electric motorcycle which emits no CO2 during operation, because the characteristics of a battery can be better utilized in the area of motorcycles, which are often used for short distance travel." Whether or not the motorcycle will be released State side is yet to be seen.
