George Carlin dies at 71
Now I know that we usually honor those hero's who have passed away, that have made an impact on our industry or families who wished their family members remembered for what they loved. I'm making an exception in this case George Carlin was a great comedian who spoke his mind. I remember well his "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television," led to a Supreme Court decision on broadcasting offensive language. George Carlin who died of heart failure Sunday at 71, leaves behind wife Sally Wade; daughter Kelly Carlin McCall; son-in-law Bob McCall; brother Patrick Carlin; and sister-in-law Marlene Carlin. We will miss his rough humor and hippie styling. I know he'll keep those in the afterlife laughing.
