"I'm a big fan of the site. It seems that I've been seeing more an more women on bikes. And not just your stock run of the mill bikes but high dollar customs wether it be a chopper or sportbike. Not that I'm complaining. Is there a new trend in more female riders?"

Well Steve more and more women are riding these days. From my past experience  in dealerships women have become the decision makers when it comes to a large purchases to a house hold. I don't know how many times I've been dealt  the "Wife Card" during a sale. ("wife card" = I've gotta ask my wife 1st.) The powersports industry has evolved it's more family oriented than it used to be and women want to experience the freedom of riding as much as men do. They have a need for speed as much as we do and have even made an impact in professional racing for example Indy Car racer Danica Patrick. Lets face it boys the girls are just as competitive as we are if not more. We've even seen more female custom bike builders like Shorty of Shorty Inc. We'd like to hear more from you on this subject and others please feel free to leave a comment.
