More news on MotoGP riders and rules change proposals
MotoGP directors confirmed that they will not be going to a spec tire. This puts an end to the concerns from tire manufacturers on which company will supply the tire.
Shinya Nakano was officially signed by Gresini Honda. Nakano moves from the Kawasaki team and returns to racing Hondas.
Marco Melandri and Toni Elias both say goodbye to the Gresini Team at the end of this season. Toni Elias signs with the d'Antin satelite Ducati team for next year. Marco Melandri moves alongside with Casey Stoner at the Corsica Ducati team.
Valentino Rossi will have a new teammate and new tire supplier for his bike. Rossi will ride on Bridgestones and Jorge Lorenzo, the 2006 250cc champion, will be his teammate.
John Hopkins leaves Suzuki to ride with Kawasaki racing for next year.
Looking forward for the 2008 year.
