September's Liquid Metal Bike of the Month a Modified GSXR 750 aka "AMP U-T"
So I thought we'd start something new. I have always enjoyed every aspect of the motorcycle from ratbikes to high dollar customs, dirtbikes to streetbikes. My favorite thing to see is one of a kind bikes. Something that was once a stock bike and changed just enough to be different or "1-off bikes." I'm not talking about slapping on parts and calling it custom (I like those too) but something that actually looks like they put some real thought behind it. So if your bike is the bike that get's a double take, the one that people say "What the hell was that?" Then send your story and pictures in to wildkard@re-cycle.us
Since this is the first time we are doing this I had the opportunity to talk to Tim. He works as a service writer at one of the Metric Motorcycle Dealers here inOrlando , Florida . When I first saw Tim's bike it was definitely one of those” what the hell was that?" type of bikes.
Tim likes to call it his "AMP U-T bike." What was once a GSXR 750 is now a 1-off bike. When I asked what inspired him.
Tim told me that a while back he 12 o' clocked his CBR929 launching the bike 10 feet into the air. The bike was still in one piece with no sub-frame, so he had to figure how to mount his seat.
He liked the way it looked so much a year later he modified his GSXR 750.
Tim still has future plans to chop the front end of the bike. AMP U-T is still a work in progress we hope to see the final result when Tim is done, in the meantime enjoy the pics and keep on wrenching............

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
